Summer Concert 2023

This summer we are performing The Pied Piper of Hamelin, a lively cantata written by Tim Price. This is a bright, jazzy, entertaining and at times quite moving version of the cautionary tale of the people of Hamelin, who learned the hard way that it is always best to settle your debts. It is scored for three soloists, SATB chorus, flute, percussion, piano and double bass.

We will also be singing: ‘How Lovely are Thy Dwellings’ from Brahms’ German Requiem, The Anvil Chorus from Il Trovatore by Verdi, ’The Way We Were’ and ‘Moon River’ arranged by our guest conductor Bernard Wight.
